The two-day tournament consisted of organized high school football teams -- each with 20 players and 4 coaches. Day one was pool play, and day two was bracket play (double elimination) based on seeding from day one.
Teams included: Bethane-Bowman, Burns, Charlotte Catholic, Forestview, Harding, Hickory, Hopewell, Hough, Nation Ford, North Mecklenburg, Olympic, Providence Day, Vance, Victory Christian and West Charlotte.
Each team's players and coaches received Under Armour gear. All teams played hard and competed both days. Cam was on-site to interact and enjoy spending time with the student-athletes and coaches.
Hough High School took first place, followed by Forestview in second place, and North Mecklenburg in third. The first place winner received a $2,500 donation to their school athletic department, $1,500 for second, and $1,000 for third. Mark Fields from Hough won the Defensive MVP award, and Riley Hilton from Nation Ford won the Offensive MVP. Trophies were given out to all award winners.
Thanks to all the teams, friends, families and spectators who came out to support the CNF!
