Cam Newton, along with members of his family and over 80 volunteers, hosted the 7th annual Cam’s Thanksgiving Jam. This year’s event, hosted in partnership with Harris Teeter and Second Harvest Food Bank, took place at Topgolf Charlotte. Over 1,200 underprivileged kids (and some family members) were served a traditional Thanksgiving meal. In addition to the meal, all guests received a full second Thanksgiving meal to prepare and share at home with their families.
This year, the CNF rented out the entire Topgolf venue to host our largest group ever – 400 more guests than past years. The night began as kids were greeted with cheering and a tunnel of high-fives. After Cam welcomed everyone, guests were treated to a traditional Thanksgiving meal and a night filled with plenty of entertainment that included games, golf, a DJ, Sir Purr, Harry the Happy Dragon, face painters and balloon artists. Cam was on hand for every part of the event. He was filled with energy and excitement as he visited with his young fans.
A special thanks to Harris Teeter, Second Harvest Food Bank, JP Morgan Chase and Topgolf Charlotte for helping to make this event spectacular.
