The 2019 Cam Newton Foundation 7 v 7 Tournament Series consisted of four regional tournaments. Eighty-five high school teams comprised of over 2,000 student-athletes and coaches participated throughout the month of June.

On May 31 and June 1, 24 teams faced off at North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, GA. In the end, North Cobb High School defeated Cedar Grove High School to win the Atlanta Regional.

The second tournament was held on June 7 and 8. Twenty-four teams competed at Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex in Savannah, GA. The competition was fierce, but Woodward High School edged out Jenkins High School in the Championship game to win the Savannah Regional.

The next tournament came on June 21 and June 22.  Twenty-six teams competed at Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, SC.  Mallard Creek High School walked away as the winners of the Charlotte Regional after completing a nearly perfect tournament.

On June 28 and 29, 11 teams competed at Blackwatch Sports Performance in Birmingham, AL where Paul Bryant High School was able to secure the victory over Fairfield High School for the final crown of the tournament series.

Each tournament was two days -- the first day being pool play to determine seeding and the second day being bracket play. Participating teams were composed of twenty high school players and four coaches. The top three teams of each tournament received a donation - first place received $2,500 designated for football gear, second place received $1,500 designated for football gear, and third place received $1,000 designated for football gear. All student-athletes and coaches received Under Armour gear to wear throughout the tournament.  Cam attended each tournament and interacted with student-athletes by coaching, throwing, and giving words of encouragement.

The CNF would like to thank all the teams that participated in the 2019 CNF 7 v 7 Tournament Series, as well as fans who came out and showed their support. The CNF would also like to thank our event sponsors - Under Armour, Gatorade, and Academy Sports.
