On the afternoon of December 16, Santa Cam and his elves delivered Christmas cheer by surprising four different groups with holiday gifts. Cam, Panthers teammates Kelvin Benjamin and Joe Webb, along with other volunteers, handed out gifts throughout the afternoon in the Charlotte metro area. Santa Cam’s Surprise Sleigh made stops and deliveries at West Mecklenburg High School, Cochrane Collegiate Academy, Billingsville Learning Academy and the Salvation Army Center of Hope. The group traveled by caravan in six, decked out GMC trucks.

At West Meck High School, Santa Cam and his elves surprised a group of 130 teachers with $50 Belk gift cards for everyone, as well as holiday snacks. Following that stop, the sleigh went to Cochrane Academy for a surprise visit to their middle school boys and girls basketball teams. Each of the players received a duffle bag full of Under Armour basketball gear. Then, on to Billingsville Academy. Cam and his elves delivered bundles of toys, games and educational gifts to a group of 50 afterschool students. Finally, the group ended their day visiting women and children at the Center of Hope. All of the women received gift cards for essential items, and the children received Under Armour toboggans.
