Cameron Jerrell Newton was born on May 11, 1989 in College Park, GA. His passion for football began at a young age, inspired by his father and older brother to take up the sport as they did. Cam dominated youth football leagues as a pre-teen, playing both offense and defense, before taking over as quarterback.
